Thought this might come in handy, I’ve been searching alot for text in .php files the past few days.

Ever notice Windows Search is a little finicky? Or I should say ‘set in its ways’? It has a pre-defined list of file types it looks at when you do a search, and if your file type is not on the list, tough luck.

Luckily, this is editable via the registry. Here is a page talking about a couple of ways of adding file types. NOTE: rebooting was not necessary on my WinXP machine…
